I am so glad I did! His voice and enthusiasm for the story put so many visions into my head that I can now imagine him reading any of the other Lemony Snicket books (if I can't find him narrating them on Audible 😉 ). He has been a favorite actor of mine for so many years, that I knew of he were narrating this book then I must give it a chance. That flavor, for me, seems to be the rich and fluid voice of Mr Tim Curry. I had tried to get into Lemony Snicket books many times in the past, but they just felt dry and needed something to inject a little flavor. Once he knew they were asleep he went down stairs to where the uncle was grabbed some snake venom and poked to holes in the uncle's neck and injected the venom. While the kids were sleeping he was sitting in the hall fiddling with an object which I'm not going to type. The assistant was really just Olaf but dressed up with a wig and everything. In the reptile room the three kids were able to escape the grasp of Olaf and the banker who protects there money and finds the orphans a new family (mr. This comment about this book is kind of going to be like the one from the first book "the bad beginning" Just a reminder this book does have some large words and some idioms that the guy in the book explains.
